A RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE MAYOR TAKES INTO CONSIDERATION AND FUNDS PRIORITIES THAT THE ATLANTA CITY COUNCIL RECOMMENDS BEING INCLUDED IN THE FY 2023 BUDGET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, Section 6-302 of the Atlanta City Charter provides authorization to the Mayor to prepare and submit the proposed Annual Budget Ordinance to the governing body; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 05-O-1976, adopted by the City Council on November 21, 2005, further provides that the Atlanta City Council will submit via resolution its priorities to the Mayor for consideration in the preparations of the Tentative Budget for the upcoming year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATLANTA, GEORGIA, that the Atlanta City Council submits to the Mayor for consideration and inclusions in the FY 2023 Budget, the priorities listed:
Fiscal Stability
Community Development
Infrastructure/Quality of Life
Personnel
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that all resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed for purposes of this resolution only and only to the extent of the conflict.
